Community Concert with Banda K-ri-B Greenfield

Join Música Franklin on Wednesday, October 4th, from 5-6 pm, for a student performance and family-friendly concert with Banda K-ri-B. Banda K-ri-B is a band from New England that was formed in the summer of 2023 by four talented and dynamic musicians from three different Caribbean countries, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Venezuela. These musicians currently work together for several different national and international artists, and they decided to unite their talents for a new project focused on Caribbean music. The members are: William “Wilo” Rodriguez (voice and percussion), Rene González (voice and bass), Ahmed González (voice and flute) and Abraham “Abe” Sanchez (voice and keyboards). This concert will take place at the First United Methodist Church Greenfield (25 Church St, Greenfield) and is free and open to the public. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Greenfield Local Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
Únase a Música Franklin el miércoles 4 de octubre, de 5-6 pm, para una presentación estudiantil y un concierto familiar con la Banda K-ri-B. Es una banda de New England formada en el verano del 2023 por cuatro talentosos y dinámicos músicos de tres diferentes países del caribe, Cuba, Puerto Rico y Venezuela, de allí su nombre K-ri-B. Actualmente trabajan juntos para diferentes artistas nacionales e internacionales y han decido unir sus talentos en un nuevo proyecto de música caribeña. Sus integrantes son: William “Wilo” Rodriguez {voz y percusion}, Rene Gonzalez (voz y bajo), Ahmed Gonzalez (voz y flauta ) y Abraham “Abe” Sanchez (voz y teclados). Este concierto tendrá lugar en la First United Methodist Church Greenfield (25 Church St, Greenfield) y es gratuito y abierto al público.
